Learn to Read the Qur’an
The Garden State Islamic Center is hosting Arabic classes for adults who are seeking to learn how to read the Holy Qur’an. This course is a “beginners course” that starts with the alphabet.
The curriculum and textbook used is, Al-Qaaidah Nooraniah. This book is available online and can be downloaded to your device. All participating students are expected to obtain a copy of the book, maintain a notebook, and utilize colored pencils during the course.
The class is free! However, since there are limited seats available, we encourage only those who are committed to attending every class, to register. Also note, up to 120 hours of dedicated study is necessary to complete the course. Each lesson will build upon the previous lesson, thus it will be a struggle if one misses any session.
The Arabic Class is conducted at the Garden State Islamic Center, started on Sunday, June 21, 2020. The class is held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, every Sunday. Please continue to observe the face mask requirement upon entering the masjid.
